NGLCC Annual Dinner

On Friday November 19th Sara McGregor’s Capitol Catering had the pleasure of hosting the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce annual dinner at the National Building Museum. The NGLCC National Dinner: an evening of courage, celebrated the accomplishments of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people in the areas of business, government, and community advocacy.

Throughout the evening guests dined on an elegant three course meal in the backdrop of the majestic National Building Museum. The menu consisted of a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres including lemon parmesan artichoke bottoms, pepper crusted tuna skewers with mango, and miniature crab cakes.

Guests began their meal with a deconstructed Caesar salad followed by beef wellington served atop a bed of sautéed spinach and mashed potato cauliflower puree drizzled with a dijon red wine reduction. The beautiful evening came to a close as a desert trio of chocolate molten cakes, deep fried poached apple, and pumpkin cheesecake lollipops were served.

What a pleasure it was to share this wonderful evening with NGLCC once again, and congratulations to all of the award winners!
